Natural Self-Confidence

My name is Claire Schrader and I am living proof that an introvert need not live on the sidelines. I started out in life as the proverbial wallflower – until I hit upon a way to break out of my shell  and  acquire some of the skills that extroverted people naturally have.

My new book, From Wallflower to Sunflower which has just come out on Amazon.

The book tells my story and how I developed The Sunflower Effect, a fast and effective confidence building system, that has helped hundreds of people  put these disadvantages behind them and start expressing themselves with confidence.

Break out of your shell the fast way

Watch this video and discover how you can break through your barriers to expressing yourself powerfully in the world (no matter how inhibited or self conscious you are) – whilst at the same time having an enormous amount of fun.

My courses will help you to:

  • Move from Wallflower to where “the Sunflowers” (the confident people) live – and start building a totally New You. (See my new book From Wallflower to Sunflower)
  • Build an unshakeable self confidence that comes from a deep place within
  • Have more fun and play more in life
  • Overcome shyness, reserve and/or the limiting aspects of being an introvert that is holding you back in your career and social life
  • Overcome your fear of standing up in front of groups and/or of being tongue-tied in social situations
  • Overcome serious blocks to your self expression that is due to traumatic experiences or a tendency to bottle up your feelings
  • Break through creative blocks and unlock your creative potential – no matter how uncreative you believe yourself to be

I  had been suffering from social anxiety from a very young age. I had tried CBT, anger management therapy, hypnotherapy, past life regression therapy and went to see many psychologists but nothing really helped me. The change and progress I made through the Breakthrough Course was absolutely priceless.  This was the first ever programme that actually managed to bring about a change in me unlike every single other therapy programme that I had joined before.
Stefan Baumann, student

I was a painfully shy child, had a traumatic childhood and young adulthood, and was not able to be comfortable being seen or heard. I was afraid of expressing myself and was uncomfortable speaking in public. Claire’s expertise worked for me to help dissolve whHeadshotIlkleyDonnaSMat was a life-long handicap. I had spent twenty years in personal therapy for these trauma issues in my life, and Claire’s workshop was a more dramatic and beneficial change than talking therapy had been.

claire135Hi there

Welcome to Making Moves particularly if you've been struggling with confidence.

I've been there myself so I do understand.

If you want to get started as soon as possible the next  Introductory Evening on July 10th is a great way to get a taste of what to expect. There will be another evening on 6th Sept.

This is followed by the one day Express Yourself Workshop (on July 16th), a safe place to come out of your shell and build confidence with a very supportive group of people - you will be amazed at what you can achieve in just one day. This course is booking very fast, so do get yourself booked in.

You can book online for all my course and events.

These are details of the next round of courses starting in September. Early booking is recommended:

The Breakthrough Group is the first step for many people - I've seen some miraculous transformations in my 20 years of running this group.

If being heard, speaking up in groups or any kind of public speaking is your challenge, then then Finding Your Voice course is a good place to start.

"I don't know what to say" is great for people with average confidence but find themselves stumped with what to say, working through improvisation and will transform your verbal confidence and social skills. We will be running an early evening course in September 6-7.30pm on a Tuesday.

I suggest you book a telephone appointment with me and we can explore which would be the best first step for you, or get in touch by email

I look forward to hearing from you

Best, Claire
