Coronavirus Safeguards

With the omicron variant raising concerns, I have made some changes to the programme of live courses I will be starting at the end of January and will be updating these safeguards as the situation changes.

Therefore I will be running just one Breakthrough Group and one Finding Your Voice Course. If the situation radically then I will reinstate original dates and times. All other courses will run as planned so long as we are permitted by Government guidelines to meet and so long there are enough participants willing to attend. I am prepared to run certain courses on zoom if that is the preference of most participants.

No one as yet has contracted the infection as a result of attending my courses. This is because my courses are attended by highly responsible people who pay high attention to COVID 19 safeguards both within and outside the courses.

I will be asking everyone to do a Lateral Flow Test before attending any live sessions to confirm you are not carrying the virus. This can be done at home and collected from your local pharmacy. And I will be suggesting that you do a Lateral Flow Test when you are coming to an event for the first time.

The venues that I am using require a number of safeguards and assurances, and we will continue to be cautious to reduce the risk of transmitting the infection. It may be necessary to wear face coverings during sessions. You will be asked to  wash your hands before and after the session. Hand sanitiser will be available for your use.

Please inform me if you suspect, or know, you have coronavirus symptoms, or have had contact with anyone with suspected symptoms. Please see the latest government requirements to prevent the spread of the infection.

We are required to practice Test and Trace and therefore if a member of the group discovers they may have been infected when attending the course, we will need to follow the latest government guidelines. If you are unable to attend due to a COVID 19 infection, or some other reason related to COVID19, you will be able to make up the session you missed, when next I run this course.

I will do everything in my power to keep the courses safe, but this requires co-operation from everyone on the course, and I welcome your input.

If you have any concerns about these safeguards or your own vulnerability, please get in touch with me through the form below. You will have an opportunity to express your concerns or requests to other course or workshop participants at the beginning of the first session.

warmest wishes

Claire Schrader
