This section intends to give you some background if you want to understand a bit more about The Sunflower Effect, how it works and why it’s so effective at building confidence for quiet, shy, reserved and introverted people…

… no matter how inhibited they believe themselves to be.

I developed the system over twenty years based on my experiences of being a shy introvert – using the tools and techniques that really worked for me – that enabled me to move from wallflower and sunflower in a relatively short amount of time. See more about my story.

It works through an adapted form of drama which includes vocal exercises, simple drama games, expressive movement, group explorations, improvisational techniques and the personal development approaches that I have found to be the most effective. You just have to be willing to give it a go!

The Breakthrough Group is the first step for many people – particularly if you feel shy, self-conscious or experience social anxiety. I’ve seen some miraculous transformations in my 20 years of running this course.

Tues 12th Jan @ 7.45pm  and Wed 20th Jan   @5.30pm

Or, if speaking up in groups, being heard, or any kind of public speaking is your challenge, then the  Finding Your Voice course is a good place to start. Particularly if anxiety or nerves are an issue. I’ve had people with very severe symptoms including panic attacks, overcome these issues with relative ease.

“I don’t know what to say” improvisation for social confidencei s great for people with average confidence who experience some form of social anxiety or awkwardness but find themselves stumped with knowing what to say. Working through improvisation and will transform your verbal confidence and social skills.

Next course starts Thursday 21st Jan @ 6pm

For people who can’t get to the London courses, I will be running a daytime course on Zoom. It starts Wednesday, 20th Jan @ 10am
