Why most conventional methods don’t help you to overcome shyness

It’s not easy to overcome shyness. This is because there is a complex psychological phenomenon that keeps you locked behind powerful internal walls.

This is why many approaches fail to address the deeper blocks, so they can only have short term benefits.

What is so Different about Shyness the Way Out

Shyness the Way Out is a Livestream course that works in a unique way through the transformational structures of the Sunflower Effect.

It is based on my experience of getting out of my shyness in a relatively short amount of time. I developed the Sunflower Effect Courses and over the last 20 years have enabled many hundreds of people to say goodbye to their shyness issues much faster than I did.

Many of these have been struggling to make changes for years and report the courses quicker and more effective than any other approach they have tried.

Overcoming shyness is not going to happen overnight and needs determination and commitment to unlearning the behaviour that has been keeping you shy. But it can be achieved much quicker and easier than you would think.

How does the course work

Shyness the Way Out is a Livestream course that provides a pathway over 10 weeks to move step by step out of shyness – and to awaken the natural self-confidence that lies dormant within you.

The course provides a safe space to meet online and connect with others who are experiencing the same issues as you.  This will enable you to change how you perceive yourself as well as receive support from a group of people who are 100% committed to supporting you to transform your shyness.

The structure of the course will give you opportunities to move step-by-step out of your comfort zone so that more confident behaviour can emerge. You and the other people on the course will become comrades-in-arms, supporting each other to face and overcome your fears.

The Sunflower Effect works in a magical way, using an adapted form of drama that is designed for people with no aptitude or interest in drama. It will work even if you find doing drama very difficult.

What it is not? It is not a series of techniques that you will quickly forget. The course works from the inside. This is the efficacy of the Sunflower Effect that will literally light you up.

It will feel challenging at first but this is the very reason why the course is working. You will participate at your own pace and in your own way. And you will not be made to do anything that feels too much for you. After a few weeks, most people begin to find it fun and even quite enjoyable.

Over time, it will get easier and you may soon find yourself expressing yourself in surprising ways.  Week by week you will notice small changes in your behaviour, that you will do automatically, without even thinking about it.  Gradually, the habitual behaviour that has been keeping you locked away in your shell will simply disappear.

How quickly will it work?

It will depend on how deep your shyness is and what psychological blocks are in the way, as to how quickly it will fade.

Some people will feel a really dramatic change and will be simply amazed at what they are now able to do in their lives.

Others will notice they have improved significantly but know there is more work for them to do. Building confidence is a process – for some people moving slowly is by far, the fastest way to get out of shyness.

If you had a traumatic childhood or are very deeply introverted the course will get you started. You will notice some changes – that you’re not plagued so much by negative thinking, or you are feeling a lot happier about yourself. You may find you are  feeling more comfortable in social situations, finding it easier to connect with other,

The Sunflower Effect Courses are a programme and will work incrementally to enable you to work through the blocks that are keeping you shy. If you persist with the Sunflower Effect, you will be able to banish it for good. And you will discover the “Real You” is very different from what you thought.


Will it work online

The Sunflower Effect is already proven to be just as effective online.

Shyness the Way Out is particularly beneficial for people with acute shyness for whom nothing else has worked. It also may be the first port of call for people and who would feel very nervous about joining the Breakthrough Course or any other face-to-face confidence-building programmes.

It will get you started, and you can follow up with other courses.

For many people joining this online course is easier than joining the Breakthrough Group, the face-to-face course for overcoming shyness.

This course is also a good alternative if you are unable to attend the Sunflower Effect Courses in London.

NEW TO LIVESTREAM EVENTS?
You will need a computer, smartphone or tablet to participate in the Livestream. And you will need to download the Zoom software (very easy) and have a camera/webcam and microphone on your device.

You will also need a private space where you won’t be disturbed by other people – as we will be doing some physical exercises.

I  had been suffering from social anxiety from a very young age. I had tried CBT, Anger management therapy, Hypnotherapy, Past life regression therapy and went to see many psychologists but nothing really helped me. Due to corona, our last few sessions of the Breakthrough Course were done online, and I was sceptical about doing them over Zoom. The Breakthrough Group is the first step for many people – particularly if you feel shy, self-conscious or experience social anxiety. I’ve seen some miraculous transformations in my 20 years of running this course.

Or, if speaking up in groups, being heard, or any kind of public speaking is your challenge, then the  Finding Your Voice course is a good place to start. Particularly if anxiety or nerves are an issue. I’ve had people with very severe symptoms including panic attacks, overcome these issues with relative ease.
