Data Protection and Privacy Policy

data-protectionYour privacy and protection of your data is very important to me.

If you sign up for the free e-book or for the Making Moves e-newsletter, I will obviously be collecting information from you so I can give you what you have asked for.

I use a service which is absolutely secure and they are very strict about privacy and spam and have very sophisticated ways of blocking any attempts to hack into your information. This is why you will need to click a link to confirm that you wish to receive information from me. This is so that no internet or spam robot can enter your information and subscribe you to these services without your knowledge.

Here’s what I do with the information the service collects:

confidencemythsidebarFor the e-book and newsletter, only your name and email are collected. I may also ask for the country or state that you live in. If you live abroad, from time to time my assistant will move you to a special list so you do not receive information about events that’s not relevant to your locality.

If you book onto any of my courses I request your address, email address and phone numbers for the purposes of keeping in touch with you.

I do not share this information with anybody else. There is no reason for me to sell, share, or give away any personal information I collect about you to anyone else – because the most important thing in my relationship with you, is trust. I would not get very far if I broke that trust that is such an important part of my courses, workshops and sessions.

The only exception is that when you join a course or workshop you will have the option to be connected up with other participants for the purposes of mutual support and social contact. This is a very important part of participating and many groups keep in touch long after the course has finished. Participants are asked not to use this email group for chain letters, marketing or business purposes without the consent of others in the group. You also have the choice to opt out of this if you wish.

If you sign up for any subscription I offer (the newsletter or the e-book), there is a link at the end of each email you receive that allows you, if clicked, to review and change any information I have about you – for instance if you change your email address or you want to unsubscribe.

Your confidentiality is assured

YOUR CONFIDENTIALITY IS ASSURED

For that reason your confidentiality is also assured when you write or phone or have a session with me. I am a member of the British Association of Dramatherapists in the UK and abide by their code of ethics, which includes confidentiality.

Also if you participate in any of my events, I request confidentiality from all participants so that everyone can feel safe that whatever they share will not be talked about by other people outside the group or workshop.

Very occasionally I might share your success story in my e-newsletter if you come to participate in which I will take lengths to conceal your identity if that is what you wish and I will also consult with you about that.

This is why also you will see against some of the testimonials, personal stories and comments made by participants, just the initials of the person. This is because these people’s jobs or public persona may be compromised by their employers, clients, friends, family or the public knowing that they participate in this kind of work or because they just don’t want their names bandied around the internet.

Certain aspects of this policy might change – but the principle will remain the same.

I hope this helps you feel more secure about signing up. If you have any questions, suggestions, feedback, just email me below.

My very warmest wishes to you

claire135Hi there

Welcome to Making Moves particularly if you've been struggling with confidence.

I've been there myself so I do understand.

If you want to get started as soon as possible the next  Introductory Evening on July 10th is a great way to get a taste of what to expect. There will be another evening on 6th Sept.

This is followed by the one day Express Yourself Workshop (on July 16th), a safe place to come out of your shell and build confidence with a very supportive group of people - you will be amazed at what you can achieve in just one day. This course is booking very fast, so do get yourself booked in.

You can book online for all my course and events.

These are details of the next round of courses starting in September. Early booking is recommended:

The Breakthrough Group is the first step for many people - I've seen some miraculous transformations in my 20 years of running this group.

If being heard, speaking up in groups or any kind of public speaking is your challenge, then then Finding Your Voice course is a good place to start.

"I don't know what to say" is great for people with average confidence but find themselves stumped with what to say, working through improvisation and will transform your verbal confidence and social skills. We will be running an early evening course in September 6-7.30pm on a Tuesday.

I suggest you book a telephone appointment with me and we can explore which would be the best first step for you, or get in touch by email

I look forward to hearing from you

Best, Claire
